The story takes place in times long forgotten, though some may say they were better times, indeed. You will find, as the story unfolds, that it is a timeless tale that has been told many times over throughout the ages.
The Author
This is the second online tale written by the author. Though the first project is currently on hold, he hopes it will one day come to its final conclusion. Until then, the Quest shall have his full attention.

Whence forth does the story begin? Here . . .
From the sandy beaches of a land far away, a poet has found himself suddenly without a writing partner. Bound by the creed of all poets, as they say, the show must go on. Therefore, a new story was borne from necessity into a world dawning. It is from here the story shall begin.

Mortal Quest is an open story that lives and breathes in a medium it would have never known in its own time. The Quest surely would have been scribed by pen, and transcribed by hungry monks - passed on through time for all ages to enjoy.
You will find that the story guides itself; the author is only here to translate it to electronic form. He truly is blessed to be. You can find out more about him if you like, though most consider him an odd fellow at his best.
